How we handle personal data

This policy explains how Trusty Transfers collects, uses, stores, and deletes data when you use our website, booking app, and customer support channels.

Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to visitors and customers using the Trusty Transfers marketing website, booking web app, and mobile app.

Data we collect

Account and contact data: email address, full name, phone number, and account identifiers created through our sign-in flow.

Booking data: pickup and drop-off locations, pickup date and time, vehicle type, flight details you provide, and special requests such as child seats or access needs.

Payment data: booking amount, payment status, and processor reference IDs. Card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored directly by Trusty Transfers.

Usage and technical data: basic app and website usage information, browser or device data, and security-related events. If analytics is enabled on the website, we collect aggregate traffic data only after you consent.

How we collect it

We collect data directly from you when you create an account, request a quote, make a booking, or contact us.

We also receive operational data from service providers involved in delivering the product, including Supabase for authentication and data storage, Stripe for payments, Mapbox for place search and routing, and Resend for booking emails.

Why we use your data

To authenticate you, manage your account, and let you view or update your bookings.

To price, confirm, fulfil, and support transfer bookings.

To send transactional messages such as sign-in emails, booking confirmations, and cancellation updates.

To prevent abuse, secure the service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal or accounting obligations.

To improve the website and booking flow when analytics has been enabled by you.

Cookies, local storage, and analytics

We use strictly necessary browser storage for sign-in sessions, booking state, security, and remembering your privacy preferences. These items are needed for the website and booking service to work.

Optional website analytics stays off unless you opt in. If you allow analytics, we load Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregate page usage and site performance. We do not use advertising trackers.

Your analytics choice is stored in your browser using local storage. If you reject optional analytics, the analytics script is not loaded by this site.

You can change your choice at any time by using the cookie preferences control in the site footer or the button below.

Sharing and processors

We share data only with suppliers needed to operate the service, such as hosting, authentication, mapping, email delivery, and payment processing providers.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising trackers in the current product. If analytics is enabled, it is used for service improvement rather than advertising.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and booking records for as long as needed to operate the service, handle support issues, comply with tax and accounting obligations, and defend legal claims.

You can request account deletion inside the app settings or by contacting [email protected] . If you have active future bookings, we may ask you to cancel or complete them first.

Some payment and compliance records may be retained by payment providers or where the law requires it, even after your in-app account is deleted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to request a copy of your data.
